New direction at the Hallein site – added value from wood!

The conversion of the production of Schweighofer Fiber GmbH in Hallein was successfully completed.

In 2012 the plant has invested 56 MEUR in the pulp mill for the production of viscose, which is used for example in the production of textile fibers. Since 21 January 2013 Hallein produces the new high-purity chemical pulp.
